BSEI started as Bangalore Schools; a 55000-member Facebook community that single-handedly mapped the education ecosystem in Bangalore.
Over the last few years, education has changed in remarkable ways. The education industry is idealising interesting new formats, philosophies, ideas and choices and BSEI is at the forefront of this revolution in Bangalore. Our aim is to bring this change within other cities in the country in the form of expos, workshops, collaborations, and more. In the course of our work with parents, teachers, students and service providers, we want to explore and shape the emerging landscape of education in the country as a one-stop knowledge and engagement portal for everything related to education.

Manoj is a recruitment professional and trainer. He runs Flex-I partners, an HR firm with operations in India, UAE, Qatar and Oman. He focuses on leadership hiring in these geographies, for clients ranging from start-ups to fortune 500 MNCs. Manoj is also a passionate trainer, and is the founder of Reflex Training Partners, an experiential learning firm that uses theatre and outbound to conduct impactful learning sessions for corporate and educational institutions. He runs a hugely popular public speaking workshop for children and adults.

Sandhya is an educator with two decades of experience. She is the director of Mud Pie education and an expert in early childhood. She is the go-to expert for homeschooling in Bangalore. Mud Pie Preschool that she runs, is an experiential school utilizing Multiple Intelligence methodology, where children Explore, Experiment and Experience learning in their own unique ways. Sandhya is a homeschooling parent to two sons. She runs the Bangalore homeschooling group on Facebook. She has been awarded multiple times by various education bodies for her contribution to parenting and early childhood education. She has the unique background of being an engineer and a psychologist.
Sandhya has conducted many workshops and webinars. She was also the mastermind behind the innovative event format at the Bangalore Schools Expo in January 2020, where events like Educator Speak and Social Impact Project broke new ground in the city.
