The educational sector is booming with choices and opportunities.
As bearers of the world's largest population of people aged 6 to 25, with 500 million students, India boasts one of the world's most extensive networks of higher education institutions.
While the opportunities for educators and adjacent organizations are immense, it is hard to cut through the noise in the industry and reach the parents. The situation is resoundingly similar for the parents – it is essential for them to understand and analyze the vast array of choices in terms of courses and institutions that would prove significant for the ward’s development.
EduWeave – Your Window to Education
Educational communities play a prominent role in acting as the safe space where parents interact and share their feedback surrounding all the academic choices.
BSEI (Bengaluru Schools Education Initiatives LLP) is an offshoot of Bangalore Schools, a Facebook community formed in 2012 to offer convenient education platforms for parents, academic institutions, students, and educators. Presently, with almost 56000 active parents, the community has grown to become one of the largest and most active Facebook groups.
In order to facilitate improved engagement between parents and the educational brands, BSEI came up with education expo, EduWeave, to act as a bridge to actively engage students and parents with various education platforms like schools, colleges, educators, institutes, etc.
The first expo of EduWeave was held in an offline format in January 2020. Shortly, the second expo, held in October 2020, was the first-ever, parent-led online education expo to combat the shortcomings of the pandemic.
Both the expos witnessed tremendous response – with 2200+ walk-in registrations, 15 Panel Discussions by leading educators, 28+ brand stalls, and 3 Contests. Following the massive success of the expos, the organizers are widening the horizons to address the evolving requirements of parents and students.
Introducing Eduweave 2021 -
The upcoming expo will be the third edition of the event, bigger and grander. The virtual education expo opens up the doors to all the prospects for parents.
The expo will address the unique requirements of every student - from kindergarten to professionals. They will be able to explore India's most prestigious education platforms, interact with the coordinators regarding admissions and learn more about education scopes in India, all from the comfort and safety of one’s home.
Who Should Jump at the Opportunity?
In a digital-first world with minimal physical access, gaining and retaining parent/student attention can be difficult. EduWeave serves as a promising medium for various educational brands/institutions to exhibit their products and services to the prospects looking for them.
Foreign Institutions –
According to a study conducted by Leverage Edu, a study abroad platform in India, 94 percent of Indian students are keener to study abroad this year than last year.
The past year has reiterated the fact that international education is more accessible to students seeking it. Institutions, regardless of location, have adapted to blended education, which combines the advantages of both online and on-campus study. Any institution, activity centre, or service provider with Indian students as a target audience can hold a place and present their brand to the students from all over India at the Virtual Education Expo.
Indian Schools and Colleges –
Did you know that the country holds a total of over 15 Lakh schools and 39,000 colleges?
The sheer number of schools and colleges can be overwhelming for parents. The virtual expo will showcase schools, colleges, and universities, providing an opportunity to educate the parents about the key highlights of the institutions. Whether you are a sponsor or a stall owner, the interactive features of the expo will allow the audience to direct their queries regarding the organizations.
Activity Centres –
After the United States, the country has become the world's second-largest E-learning market. With roughly 9.5 million subscribers, the industry is predicted to reach US$ 1.96 billion by 2021. By 2026, the online education market in India is expected to be worth $11.6 billion.
The numbers indicate the sheer importance provided to the extra layer of learning over the conventional syllabus of the schools/colleges. The dedicated categorization for service providers encompasses all the training centres – be it tuitions, coaching, career counselling, hobby classes, coding, or robotics.
Service Providers –
The other piece that completes the puzzles in the educational sector is the Educational Service Providers. The evolving requirements of the students and educators extend to the service provides as well. The expo holds a place for all the technical and physical service providers, assisting students with their unique requirements – from Edtech, LMS, uniforms, books, to stationery.
Wrapping Up
EduWeave will continue to withhold its success rate and multiply its reach with the upcoming event on the 30 & 31 October 2021.
The objective is to continue being the bridge between the sponsors, education institutes, parents, and global students' diaspora. The expo is now open for sponsor and booth registrations. Allow the students to explore your brand in the comfort of their homes by partaking in the online education expo.
