Shweta Sharan is an education journalist with bylines in The Hindu, Mint, New Indian Express, and Deccan Herald. In 2012, she started a Facebook group called Bangalore Schools, which now comprises more than 40,000 parents, teachers and educators. Shweta also works as a digital marketer and content strategist with schools in Bangalore. Her other gigs include working with Toka Box, a California-based company that curates children's books and activities.
Shweta has an MA in Literature and loves spending time with her daughter.
